Stone Creek Community – Rancho Cordova, California

The newer areas of Rancho Cordova are experiencing rapid residential growth and, in some respects, are adding new housing at a pace that exceeds Roseville.  These developments offer a wide range of housing options, including active-adult and retirement communities, along with generally more affordable home prices than many parts of Roseville and Folsom For buyers seeking newer construction and value, Rancho Cordova can be an attractive alternative however, currently not much commercial.   In the near future, Rancho Cordova has a proposed sports and entertainment venue and a new soccer arena. There are also future plans for hotels, restaurants, and retail possibly by 2027. However, don't bet on it; it will take several  years in my opinion.  With Rancho Cordova vs. Folsom there is less congestion and travel time. The Stone Creek area of Rancho Cordova off Zinfandel is more established, affordable and close to shopping and is my choice for a mature neighborhood, no Mello Roos and Sprouts grocery store!

Stone Creek and Zinfandel Village is one of Rancho Cordova’s most desirable master-planned communities, known for well-maintained homes, a family-friendly atmosphere, and an extensive network of parks, bike paths, and walking trails. Developed primarily in the 2000s, the neighborhood features contemporary and Spanish-inspired homes, tree-lined streets, and designed open spaces that create a welcoming suburban setting. The community includes Elliott-built homes, access to Stone Creek Community Park, and schools within the Folsom-Cordova Unified School District. The new Sprouts grocery store provides shopping close by and easy freeway access. Stone Creek is one of Rancho Cordova’s affordable areas and no mello roos!
